Jason Rozen, from Elijah.

Here is a picture of of Jason. He is sitting under a string of handmade cd packaging (for the re-release of Give & Take). He is my good friend and has been a great support since the day I came home from the hospital, that night he and his girlfriend Joanna brought me bags of kidney friendly groceries.

Jason's hobbies include running Grinding Tapes Recording Co., playing Mario Cart/Wii, and bootlegging live shows. He gives blood as much as legal and refuses to lock his car door because he believes in trusting his fellow man. (Ironically he does take his ipod with him when he leaves the car though.)

Jason is giving me his kidney. Both Rhonda and I love Jason very very very very much not only because he is giving me a kidney. We just love him.

We can't thank him enough.

Dr. Trebbin, From Rhonda.

Dr. Trebbin has been amazing since the first meeting. He's kind, compassionate, intelligent, goofy, loving, and just all around fantastic. He's been the most dedicated doctor that we've ever dealt with. He calls Elijah back within minutes, regardless the day or time. Also, he still saw Elijah when he didn't have insurance coverage (other places more or less had showed him the door!), and on top if it all we have yet to receive a bill from him...ever.

We literally owe Dr. Trebbin Elijah's life. He's so great. He'll yell at Elijah for not sticking to his diet, or hug me when I break down crying in his office. He also works to bring dialysis machines to Africa where otherwise a kidney disease is a death sentence.

He's just, well... our hero.

Thank you Dr. Trebbin. We heart you.

-Rhonda.
